Our Vow Story started with a simple frustration: why is planning one of life's happiest milestones so stressful? Guest lists scattered across emails, budget tracking in spreadsheets, vendor conversations lost in inboxes — the tools people were using weren't built for this.
The team at Data Mobile Cloud — with a background in building reliable, user-centred software — decided to fix it. Rather than a feature-heavy enterprise tool or a simple checklist app, we wanted to build something that felt genuinely designed for couples: intuitive, collaborative, and calm.
We started by listening. We talked to couples who were in the middle of planning, couples who'd just got married, and couples who wished they'd had better tools. What we heard shaped everything — from the information architecture to the simplest button label.
